A LITTLE ABOUT THE GUY
MEET
JOEY.
As an Actor, Author, Standup Comedian, Filmmaker and Voice Artist, Joey's fascination with the human condition has driven his unique brand of award-winning humor his entire career.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Joey fled the Motor City at 17 for Hollywood after high school on his own. Within a couple weeks, he auditioned for Mitzi Shore, the owner of the famous Comedy Store on the Hollywood Sunset Strip. A naturally funny kid, after just 4 times on stage in his life, Mitzi made him a regular performer. At 17 he was performing with the pros during the week, making him one of the youngest professional standup comics in the heyday of standup comedy.
